Stillwater Pioneer Athlete Memorial | Stillwater Pioneer Athlete Memorial Donate Apply Board Members Database The Vision of a Scholarship In 1995 Coach Jim Harris entertained the idea of honoring past Pioneers for their athletic accomplishments as well as providing a vehicle to develop ascholarshipfor graduating Pioneer athletes. The Committees original goal was to build the funds in an endowment with the hope of presenting the first scholarship in 2001. However after five years of hard work and the generosity of Pioneers family members and supporters we were able to present the first scholarship in the Spring of 2000. The scholarship began as a 4year 500 per year award and has increased to 1500 per semester for 4 years.
