Family Service Agency advocates for families and individuals of all ages and diversities, helping to create and preserve a healthy community. Providing Hope, Strength, and Stability to children, families, and seniors in Santa Barbara County. The mission of Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara County (FSA) is to strengthen and advocate for families and individuals of all ages and diversities, helping to create and preserve a healthy community. Established in 1899, FSA continues to respond to the most-pressing needs of underserved children, families, seniors and other community members. We provide an array of basic needs assistance, family support, and mental health counseling services countywide. Our recent mergers with Santa Maria Valley youth & Family Center (2017) and Guadalupe Little House by the Park (2019) have helped ensure access to life-changing support for more than 27,000 Santa Barbara County residents annually.
