The historic train station in the center of Callicoon will soon become the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway Visitor Center at Callicoon Depot. Significant space is dedicated for use as a tbd community resource. Restoration will begin in 2021. TO ESTABLISH A TOWN SQUARE, COMMUNITY COMMONS AND VISITORS CENTER AT THE SITE OF THE CALLICOON TRAIN DEPOT.

Callicoon Depot Inc. We are an independent nonprofit volunteer organization collaborating with the Callicoon Business Association and the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway Association in the redevelopment of the historic Callicoon Depot into a visitors center. Our mission is to secure grant funding in order to make The Callicoon Depot an activity space for the community where locals and visitors alike can gather learn and commune. What were working on Completing all prerequisite work and activating primary grant for major development. Continue and initiate new necessary building repairs and stabilization.
