The Władysław Poniecki Foundation For over 30 years the Wadysaw Poniecki Foundation has been dedicated to educating supporting and collaborating with other nonprofit organizations focused on empowering people and institutions. While this work initially was focused primarily in Central and Eastern Europe today the Foundations work has expanded to other underserved and vulnerable populations in the world. The Foundation provides technology and assistance to libraries and environmental medical and educational institutions and conducts workshops that enhance the skills entrepreneurial attitudes and networking abilities for those involved. The Foundation was established in the name of Wadysaw Poniecki 18801955 a civic leader and successful businessman in Poland who took an active leadership role in his community both prior to and throughout the postWWII occupation years.
