Boatnik features various activities such as boat racing, concerts, a parade, carnival rides, food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display.

All proceeds from Boatnik are distributed throughout the year to support local children and youth-based organizations. Over the decades, the club has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to these causes.

In addition to Boatnik, the Grants Pass Active Club provides financial assistance through scholarships to area high school seniors. Since the inception of its scholarship program, the club has awarded nearly a hundred thousand dollars to deserving students.
