Our hearts are heavy today. Our secretary and her husband were in a fatal car accident, both are gone. This is the worst possible news. 😭💔 Mandi Rook-forbes was also Val’s caregiver, her right arm and as close to being a family member than one could be. We are all heartbroken and devastated. Mandi was an animal lover and was passionate, like we are about the wild horses and burros. She made us laugh with her sense of humor and quick wit. A generous sweet soul and dear friend is gone. This is very hard to process. 💔💔💔 A future without Mandi? There are no words. Rest in peace, Mandi and Tony. Godspeed. 🕊️ (fb)
