When Ducky, Littlefoot, & Cera came into our care, they were heartbreakingly tiny — frail, patchy, & scared. Their little bodies were covered in painful ringworm & they had no idea that help had finally arrived. 💔 Our Texas team has been hard at work caring for these babies so they can be healthy enough to take their freedom rides to PA in a few weeks. We are so grateful to our amazing team who cares for these souls so diligently. Ringworm treatment is long & costly — it takes weeks of medicated baths, oral medications, & isolation. Adopt Poppy (female), Ash (female), and Ivy (female) today! They are 3 mo old chi/doxi mixes with maybe a little cattle dog thrown in. They came with their other siblings from Texas where they were turned in as an unwanted litter. They went into foster care in TX and are now here in Phila PA. They are puppies, so nippy, chewy and will need patience and training. They will be available for adoption Sunday June 1 - at that time they will be fully vaccinated. Puppies are a lot of fun but also a lot of work. We are looking for families that have older children, age 9 yrs and older. Someone home part of the day or can have someone come in mid day to give pup a potty break. This is necessary to help with house training. Puppies require a commitment to help them be their best and training is essential.
