This October, in honor of International Day of the Girl, we are excited to partner with the Bricc Foundry to bring stories of amazing women and girls around the world who are helping others. Our first feature is Nadine M. from Cameroon. She engages with Harambee Africa to bring books to underprivileged children and young people in refugee camps and orphanages. Nadine has installed 6 little free libraries of about 1,000 children's books. Her goal is to give all children in Cameroon the chance to experience the joy and power of reading. You can visit our partner The BRICC Foundry to see our other feature on women and girls creating positive change. #idg2022 #internationaldayofthegirl #internationaldayofthegirl2022 #girlsrights (fb)

We are inspired by the resilience and dedication displayed by educators we work with in the face of the many barriers to human rights education. Curious about what drives them to continue in the face of these challenges, we asked Human Projects educators from around the world to share why they teach human rights. Their responses show common threads of commitment to their students’ growth and safety as well as a commitment to leveraging their role as an educator to inspire positive change in their community, country, and the world. Thank you to the 194 Human Projects educators who donated their time to contribute to this exhibition and to the many educators around the world navigating complex political, social, and educational environments to teach their students human rights. You can view the full virtual exhibit Education as a Pathway for Change: Why Human Projects Educators from Around the World Teach Human Rights at www.thehumanprojects.com/education-as-a-pathway-for-change-virtual-exhibit (link in bio). #worldteachersday #teachersday #humanrightseducators #thehumanprojects (fb)
