United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona
The mission of United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. UCPSA provides home based attendant care, habilitation, and respite services that enable individuals to live with their own families or independently as adults. UCPSA provides evaluations for assistive technology devices for individuals with speech impairment. UCPSA also houses two federal grant-funded projects, one to build community awareness and acceptance of the use of assistive technology devices and a second to facilitate access to services for grandparents raising grandchildren with disabilities. Both projects use social marketing as a tool to build community knowledge. UCPSA is consistently rated as one of the most financially responsible charities, with 85" of every dollar spent directly on programs and services.
