Connecting high school & college students with senior citizens to combat the epidemic of loneliness. Putting a smile on the faces of seniors, including those experiencing cognitive decline. Weekly virtual visits. Conversations to Remember's mission is to support senior citizens' mental health by combating their feelings of loneliness and isolation with curated weekly video visits between them and 2-3 college-aged students. All seniors, including those with cognitive decline, are welcome to participate in our video calls to create intergenerational relationships.

Conversations To Remember
Social isolation among older adults can often go unnoticed by those experiencing it. An article from the Australian Institute of Family Studies highlights how many seniors may not recognize their isolation as a problem, but others, including caregivers, may notice it sooner. This situation can negatively affect seniors’ cognition, overall well-being, and even those caring for them.

Recently, a senior from Best Care Assisted Living in Maryland had an amazing call and connected over baseball with a student volunteer, Melissa, from Stevens Institute of Technology. Joined by Ava, from Indiana University Bloomington, and Amelia, from Boston University, they shared excitement about meeting again next week. The senior was very engaged in the conversations, sharing some captivating information.
