ADLA's mission: to protect and defend Arizona's animals The Animal Defense League of Arizona, founded in 1997 from the merger of Tucson-based Voices for Animals and Phoenix-based Concerned Arizonans for the Animal Rights and Ethics, grew out of the need for a unified voice to work toward greater protection of animals in Arizona. ADLA works as a network of animal protection activists and advocates. Mission Statement: "To protect and defend Arizona's animals."
