Humane Animal Rescue Team
HART was founded in 1984 and has been dedicated to the rescue of senior dogs from homes where their owner has become too elderly to care take them, or has passed away. Our focus is to find loving families to adopt them and we have an 80% adoption success. We have a strict screening process with home check, to make sure the dog and person will be good for each other. We charge $100 for each adoption. We rely completely on the kindness of others to take care of these wonderful dogs, giving them all the love and attention we can, walks, regular baths and complete vetinarian care if needed. These creatures deserve to live out the rest of their lives in a loving home.
