Our mission is to provide safe, welcoming homes where every person—no matter their age or ability—is valued, supported, and part of a caring community. Colorful Dreams mission is to provide homes for adults with disabilities. We are committed to providing living environments that promote self-respect, independence, and improve the quality of life of residents. The need for an organization such as Colorful Dreams is readily apparent when one considers the thousands of disabled individuals waiting for community-based housing. Many do not receive placement within their lifetimes, and those who are lucky enough to receive placement, often are located in townships and counties far away from their families and communities. There is a housing shortage for disabled adults that is a crisis and it is impacting the most vulnerable among us.
