The Heart and Mind Connection is a peer-run, veteran and woman-owned non-profit, dedicated to mental health and substance use recovery, advocacy and awareness. Our mission is to develop connection, foster purpose and empower ourselves and others struggling with hope. Through evidence-based educational training, suicide prevention programming, social events and legislative activism. Our organization is built for those struggling and run by those recovering. Individuals with lived experience and Certified as Peer Support Specialists, ready to provide support, guidance and the building blocks of Recovery - The catalyst of our process: Connection. Purpose.
