🦉It’s baby owl season! Even if they are alone, they are not necessarily in need of help. ⚠️False rescues are very common this time of year when owls and other birds are seen alone on the ground. They are typically at the fledgling stage and have left their nest and are learning to fly. 🪺Mothers are often nearby and are much more skilled at protecting and raising their young than humans. If you see an owl, or any young animal, alone the best way to help is to leave them where they are. If the baby is injured or in danger, call local authorities and avoid intervening yourself. Normalmente están en la etapa de volantón, han dejado el nido y están aprendiendo a volar. 🪺Las madres suelen estar cerca y son mucho más capaces de proteger y cuidar a sus bebés que los humanos. Si ves un búho, u otra cría de animal solo, la mejor forma de ayudar es dejándola donde está.
