THE SUNSET APOLLO MARCHING BAND & AUXILIARY (SAMBA) PARENT CLUB, IS A NON-PROFIT 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS ALL OF THE COMPREHENSIVE BAND AND COLORGUARD PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AT SUNSET HIGH SCHOOL. SAMBA FUND RAISES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO PAY FOR TRAVEL EXPENSES, ENTRY FEES, UNIFORMS SPECIALIZED PERFORMANCE INSTRUCTION, SHOW DESIGN, INSTRUMENT PURCHASE AND REPAIR, THE PURCHASE OF NEW MUSIC AND ARRANGEMENTS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WHO OTHERWISE WOULD BE UNABLE TO AFFORD TO PARTICIPATE.

Under the direction of Greg Hall Sunset High School in Beaverton Oregon enjoys one of the premier band programs in the Pacific Northwest. Students are offered a wide variety of musical alternatives including marching band color guard jazz band funk band and symphonic band. See upcoming event dates practices etc.
