Port Chicago Weekend is a festival of music, art and culture which will span across the Bay Area. This weekend aligns with the 80th Anniversary of Port Chicago Day and celebrates the lives, legacies, and civil rights of Bay Area Heroes and WWII Sailors. Port Chicago Alliance's mission is to preserve and promote the history of California's Port Chicago, honoring the Sailors who served, sacrificed, and championed equal rights in the Bay Area during World War II.
