Research develop disseminate and promote open source technologies organizational structures and other goods services and information useful for the practice of disintermediated production and distribution of medicine. Priority is given to developing a model for production and distribution of insulin by community-based third parties. Medicine is not directly produced or distributed and there is no direct relationship between activities and benefit to individuals in need of medicine.

Open Insulin Foundation 387 2X 7. 6million What We Do Were a team of biohackers with a variety of backgrounds and skills and relationships to insulin and diabetes from many cities and countries around the world including Oakland California Baltimore Maryland and Paris France. Were working to develop the first practical smallscale communitycentered model for insulin production to make insulin accessible to all. We are working towards the goal of communities in need having local sources of safe affordable highquality insulin and where diabetics and their communities can own and govern the organizations that produce the medicine they depend on to survive.
