We are excited to bring back the beloved Lavender in the Village Festival on Saturday, July 26, 2025, with a new location and a renewed mission. While the festival remains deeply committed to supporting the Village of Los Ranchos, this year’s main event will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park, offering greater accessibility and a more sustainable footprint for the surrounding agricultural community. The move to Balloon Fiesta Park reflects our commitment to reducing the impact of the festival on the Los Ranchos Agri-Nature Center’s active farming areas and nearby neighborhoods, while continuing to celebrate the rich agricultural and cultural traditions of the North Valley. The 2025 festival will feature over 100 vendors offering an abundance of lavender plants, potions, lotions, artwork, and more. Attendees will also enjoy live music and a robust schedule of educational programming, with local experts presenting on topics such as cooking with lavender, natural healing, sustainable farming, and creative lavender-based crafts. Moving the festival to Balloon Fiesta Park allows us to grow while still respecting the agricultural integrity of Los Ranchos. This evolution reflects our mission to connect people to land, to community, and to the beauty of lavender season in New Mexico. Details at LavenderInTheVillage.org See you there! (fb)

🌙✨ The Mexican free-tailed bats have migrated back to the community farm for the summer! These amazing insectivores are here to help control pests—supporting the work our year-round bats are already doing 🦇 Stroll along our acequias during dusk for the best chance to spot them in action! 📷 USFWS photo database #Bats #MexicanFreeTailedBats #Pollinators #Newmexicotrue #InsectControl (fb)
