Meet Chamber Ambassador Michelle Gates Blue Michelle Blue is the passionate founder behind Ignite The Mind, LLC, an educational enrichment company launched in 2023 right here in Conifer. Through Ignite, Michelle offers SAT prep, IB/AP test prep in Chemistry and Biology, summer STEAM camps, tutoring, and fun, hands-on enrichment programs for elementary students during school breaks. With a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s in the Art of Teaching, Michelle is a Colorado licensed science teacher with over 20 years of experience — including 15 years in Denver Public Schools, where she earned the coveted “Distinguished” endorsement three times. She’s also collaborated on science curriculum development with the University of Colorado and Next Gen Science Standards. Through Ignite The Mind, Michelle’s mission is clear: to help kids discover their passion for math and science while supporting them in reaching their full potential.
