(CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)THE CAMPUS IS OPERATED BY KC PET PROJECT, FOCUSING ON PET ADOPTION, PET RETENTION, EDUCATION, AND OUTREACH TO BOTH ADULTS AND YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY. KCCAC IS ONE OF THE COUNTRY'S MOST STATE-OF-THE-ART ANIMAL WELFARE FACILITIES, LOCATED IN THE HEART OF KANSAS CITY AND IN THE HEART OF THE KC ANIMAL HEALTH CORRIDOR - THE WORLD'S LARGEST CONCENTRATION OF ANIMAL HEALTH BUSINESSES. THE SHELTER ATTRACTS THOUSANDS OF VISITORS, ADOPTERS, PET OWNERS, AND ANIMAL WELFARE AND SHELTER MEDICINE PROFESSIONALS ANNUALLY.
