People powered movement in the heart of Texas working for a healthy community, environmental justice, and a liveable planet for our children. Grassroots organization advocating for clean air, clean water, and a liveable Arlington, Texas. Our group organizes for a liveable Arlington on a liveable planet for all our children. We focus on stopping expansion of gas drilling locally, building a movement for a rapid and just transition from fossil fuels, and on inter-generational climate justice, and environmental justice. Arlington is a large, conservative, Republican led, racially diverse city of 380,000 people in the middle of the DFW metroplex. Most of our organizing efforts are focused on Arlington, but we also work collaboratively with partners on regional air quality issues, growing the climate movement, and on environmental justice. Our group is made up of Arlington residents - many are mothers and grandmothers. Our supporter list of about 2500 local residents is very diverse, reflecting the demographics of our city.
