Home | The Tennessee Coalition for Health Science & BioSTEM Education Supporting BioSTEM education across the State of Tennessee. our mission our impact our vision Supporting and improving biotechnology bioSTEM and health sciences education across Tennessee In a historic first on January 24 2019 the TN Department of Education implemented bioSTEM education standards which enabled any instructor any principal any Director of schools to implement a sophisticated 4 semester biotechnology cirriculum of study. Educator interest in implementing such programs is exploding in every corner of the state. These programs however can be expensive and anxiety inducing.
