Home - National Conference of Bankruptcy Clerks About the NCBC The NCBC was formed in 1980 to serve the professional needs of the newly created position of Clerk of Court for the United States Bankruptcy Courts. Initial membership was only open to appointed Clerks of Court but was later expanded to include deputy clerks as well as others interested in the bankruptcy community. Through the years the NCBC has been a voice on matters that impact the bankruptcy system and our president sits as an exofficio member of the Bankruptcy Clerks Advisory Group. Here we can raise issues and be advocates for issues which our membership supports.
