Partnering with our neighborhood community, we provide healthy pasture homes for horses that would otherwise be at risk. They are generally older or lame -- unable to be ridden -- they spend the rest of their lives with us.

Community Horse Sanctuary Community Horse Sanctuary Community Horse Sanctuary started in 2015 when we began transforming Ashfault Farm our small race horse breeding operation into a facility for taking in horses who need a comfortable healthy home to live out their lives. There is a strong need for such an option. In some cases circumstances change and owners can no longer provide good care for their horses. In others a horse is injured or unfit for work and would otherwise need to be euthanized or sent to Canada or Mexico for slaughter.
