We need your help. Not a single dog has been adopted from our shelter this week. Not one. And while that’s hard on our hearts, it’s even harder on the dogs, the ones who keep watching the door, waiting for someone to come for them. The truth is, we’re inching closer and closer to critical capacity, and we need your help to make space, and we’re headed into the busiest time of the year, when more dogs than ever will need a safe place to land. We’re asking: Can you be the one who changes that? Looking for a puppy? We’ve got some seriously adorable candidates. Want a young adult with good vibes and great leash manners? We’ve got those, too. How about a senior who just wants to curl up beside you and snooze in the sun? Yep — we’ve got a few of those, and they’re wonderful. Every adoption helps more than you know. They say everyone loves an underdog... so where’s Toby’s person? 🥺💔 At 8 years old, missing one leg, and rocking a classic mixed-breed blend, Toby might not be what some people picture when they think “perfect dog.” But that’s where they’re wrong. Toby is the perfect dog, just with a little extra character. This Class A Underdog has been waiting patiently for someone to see past the numbers and the missing leg and recognize the incredible heart he has to offer. He’s sweet. Loyal. Gentle. Housetrained. Dog-friendly. Cat-tolerant. Crawl-on-command kind of charming. And if that’s not enough, he’s even got a paddle-boarding hobby with his foster mom. 🏄‍♂️💙 He may be a “tripawd,” but he’s a whole-hearted companion who becomes deeply bonded to his person. He loves being with his people, soaking up affection, and simply being part of a home. He doesn’t need much, just someone to love him as deeply as he loves them.
