About ABVI For almost 90 years the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired South Carolina ABVI has supported individuals who are blind or low vision in the Charleston TriCounty area. Upon merging with The Vision Institute of SC ABVI now proudly serves individuals of all ages across the state. Our Services Adult Services Certified Vision Specialists provide a variety of skills training including assistive technology orientation and mobility skills for daily living and much more to empower adults with low vision or blindness to achieve their independence goals.
