Alums in LA - there are not one but two BADA alums in the west coast premiere production of Karen Zacarías's "Just Like Us"! Midsummer in Oxford 2018 alums Newt Arlandiz and Oscar Emmanuel Fabela feature in this production, based on the book by Helen Thorpe, at the Latino Theatre Company at The LATC. Set in Denver, "Just Like Us" follows four Latina teenage girls whose close-knit friendship is tested by the realities of immigration status—and the opportunities or barriers it creates.
