Florida-Wakayama Cultural Association FloridaWakayama Cultural Association Since 1995 Florida and Wakayama have been sister states. Our association was founded in 2020 to sustain that friendship and to promote cultural exchange. The studio of Wakayama pottery artist Masayoshi Shimizu showing pieces brought to Pensacola Florida in January 2019 for the exhibition Beauty in Use Celebrating Japanese Cultural Traditions. Our Mission To further the relationship through cultural and artistic exchanges between the citizens of Florida and Wakayama.
