Afrisnet Inc
A nonprofit organization seeking to increase the participation of Africans in modern research We need to maximize the human talent for research to meet challenges of climate change, diseases, food insecurity, population growth, antibiotic resistance, and more. Africa comprises 16% of the global population but contributes less than 2% of the global research output. Afrisnet's mission is to increase the overall participation of Africans in globally competent research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. With a people-centered philosophy, we train and support undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and masters students who seek access to modern research. In particular, we help African students gain access to research training at research universities through research internships and research graduate degrees in the United States.
