Modal title Main navigation The Doris Day Animal League and the Humane World Action Fund have merged The Doris Day Animal League was an influential animal advocacy organization founded in 1987 by the late actress and singer Doris Day. In September 2021 the Doris Day Animal League merged with and into Humane Society Legislative Fund. Humane Society Legislative Fund was the sole surviving entity of the merger. Subsequently in 2025 Humane Society Legislative Fund changed its name to Humane World Action Fund.
