Rise & Shine Day Program

Friday Night Shine

Shine Tallahassee hosts a monthly themed social event intended to champion individuality and build self-esteem among participants with developmental disabilities, aged 14 and above. These events feature live music, karaoke, dance, games, crafts, and messages of faith, accompanied by snacks. The events are always free and are supported by Genesis Church, which provides the venue for these gatherings.

Night to Shine

In collaboration with the Tim Tebow Foundation, Shine Tallahassee participates in Night to Shine, a prom-style event for individuals with special needs aged 14 and older. This event includes a red carpet, crowns, tiaras, corsages, boutonnieres, dancing, dinner, photo booths, and karaoke, offering an unforgettable experience filled with faith, hope, and love.
