An Empathetic Ear for Students Everywhere hEARt Listens is a nonprofit organization that connects students who want to talk with students who want to listen. Why. Early in their college careers the founders of hEARt Listens realized that students on their campus were struggling. They did some digging and through research interviews and surveys they found that 86 felt overwhelmed 73 felt anxious 86 felt exhausted 77 felt stressed Our founders realized that students were looking for mental health resources to meet 3 specific needs They wanted someone who would give them the floor Students wanted to find a way to be there for one another Students wanted to learn to prioritize their own wellbeing while helping others How.
