This Pride Month, we honor and uplift our LGBTQ+ youth, who are overrepresented in the foster care system and face heartbreaking disparities: 📊 Did You Know. • Up to 30% of youth in foster care identify as LGBTQ+ • LGBTQ+ youth are twice as likely to experience placement instability • They face higher risks of homelessness, mental health struggles, and discrimination But statistics aren’t the full story—these young people are resilient, courageous, and worthy of love just as they are.
