A visit to Keehi immerses the student in a range of physical mental cultural and scientific activities grounded in Keehis rich history and demonstrates the evolving ecology of the islands. Through learning the moolelo stories and practices of our Hawaiian ancestors and the history of the islandsonce home to alii such as King Kalkaua and once a place for teaching navigation and shark riding participants experience a unique opportunity for healing maintaining wellbeing art therapy and authentic learning in the middle of urban Honolulu.
