San Antonio Cactus andXerophyte Society Monthly Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at 7pm at theSan Antonio Garden Center3310 N. New Braunfelsat New Braunfels Funston. Other Club Benefits include our monthly newsletter SACXS FACTS club field trips and access to national programs through our affiliation with the Cactus Succulent Society of America.

San Antonio Cactus & Xerophyte Society Inc

Particularly 'prickly' are the Corynopuntias, with areoles that have both glochids and spines, some of which are up to two inches long. A nice addition to a cactus garden, as long as you watch out for those spines. Thank you, Barbara, for this amazing series on Texas natives.
