It is the mission of the Warrior Football Club to strengthen the Wakefield High School Football Program. Wakefield High school is a Title I school with one of the most diverse student bodies in the United States and four out of every ten students receive free or reduced lunch. The Wakefield Football Team is made up of young men from socioeconomically diverse backgrounds with over 50% coming from families who are living in poverty. A team of committed parents began meeting in the Fall of 2015 to discuss how we can better work as a group to assist the Football Program and raise funds to feed the athletes on game days, buy gear for athletes in need, purchase better equipment, fund team building activities as well as provide support for academic improvement and team morale.
