Promoting confidence in girls through personalized gift boxes of donated clothing + accessories curated specifically for HER. Founded in August 2018, The Nines helps underprivileged teenage girls by providing them with personalized gift boxes including nine items of donated clothing and accessories based on a style guide each girl fills out, with the goal of building self-esteem and providing critically needed clothing items. In addition to giving recipients access to essential items they need, The Nines helps build self confidence by allowing the girls to express their preferences and develop their own unique style. The Nines was built on the premise that every young girl, regardless of socioeconomic class, deserves to receive functional, clean clothing that is curated specifically with her preferences in consideration. The Nines is dedicated to fostering self-esteem and achievement in young girls.

Sort Our volunteers pull quality pieces appropriate for girls ages 1220. Style Our recipients answer questions about their style upcoming events and size so we can create personalized outfits. Gift Finally we work with Bay Area charity partners to deliver giftwrapped boxes of amazing clothes.
