Jim Irsay was an undoubtedly compassionate human being, whose areas of philanthropy included animals, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. He definitely understood the importance of the human-animal bond, and its positive impact on our lives. As such it was a wish of ours for many years to meet him (and Drake) and have them visit here - bet he wouldve loved it. Thankful for all he gave of himself to Indianapolis, its citizens; encouraging those struggling silently to heal outloud…All he gave to the kiddos, the schools, the recovery community, the football fans, and; even his critics. I SLEEP FINE SIR - MAAM. Hope *you sleep well being an accessory after the fact to bitchassness, because that’s all you’ve accomplished today. Never ever will I apologize for not giving the owner a fifth and sixth opportunity to be amazingly selfish. She didnt fight for her until the first time I said: NOOOOooo. That’s not a fight it’s a tantrum. Even in that tantrum she managed to mention all the younger cats she wanted to hoard inside and outside against lease, even before she moved in. Her loss sir. Truly. She was an AMAZING dog and I am GRATEFUL she surrendered her, and passed by other opportunities given to reclaim her, because it gave us years of joy with her ALL which has been 100% worth her owner’s BS, and yours.
