When night sweats and disruptive symptoms began to take over Whitney's life, she knew something was wrong. Despite initially suspecting perimenopause, her family's history of cancer urged her to seek medical advice. She was alarmed by what she discovered - a CT scan revealed a large mass in her uterus. Whitney was then referred to Aurora BayCare Medical Center for treatment. Whitney learned she was a candidate for a robotic hysterectomy, a minimally invasive procedure to remove the mass.
