Providing free client-centered health services and information to the East Bay since 1969 Health Care For People, Not Profit "Healthcare for People, Not Profit" The philosophy of the Berkeley Free Clinic is that access to health care is a basic human right. We work as a volunteer collective to provide free client-centered services to communities in need and individuals who either cannot or do not access traditional health services. We strive to demystify medicine, to work within the principles of harm reduction, and to empower clients and communities as they take charge of their own health.
