Homestead Afghanistan Supporting SelfReliance in Afghan Women Families and Communities OUR WORK Homestead Afghanistan is a 501c3 nonprofit registered in Massachusetts and headquartered in Kabul Afghanistan. We have developed a wholeofvillage platform of interventions for rural Afghanistan focused on helping families and communities achieve selfreliance using local resources and knowledge. We will facilitate directly support share knowledge and adapt approaches alongside our Afghan community partners. Three components of the platform remain in the forefront as immediate priorities food security initiatives women and girls education and womens employment in skilled trades.
