We are a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands of homeless, hungry, and poor men, women, and children in San Diego since 1955. San Diego Rescue Mission is a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands San Diego Rescue Mission exists to lovingly address the needs of men, women and children experiencing homelessness, by sharing the Good News of Salvation and providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery, by providing the basic needs, shelter, housing, counseling and job training to the homeless, poor, addicted and abused, thus improving the quality of their lives. Our goal is that every man, woman and child seeking a better life through the Rescue Mission encounter God, experience recovery, engage in job training and placement, establish housing and enlist a support network as a participants in our programs, thus increasing the opportunity for a better life free from addiction and abuse.
