The Puerto Rican Community & Friends Organization is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization poised to raise awareness of Puerto Rican culture through community events focused on service, education, music, and arts. The organization recognizes that celebrating diversity is a way to strengthen culture and identity in the city of Trenton and beyond. This organization was derived from The Trenton Puerto Rican Parade, incepted in 1978. We pay homage through pride in culture which gives us an opportunity to connect with our global roots. This connection shapes our values and beliefs. We are committed to continuing the legacy of those who came before us, reaching our youth, sharing our culture with other communities, and collaborating with partners in our Capitol City and beyond.

The newly formed organization shall celebrate and promote its culture throughout the calendar year with events which highlight the rich history present and future of Puerto Rican culture. Our mission is to educate raise awareness spread pride and exhibit Puerto Rican culture and its community in Trenton. Our goal is to Revive the rich Puerto Rican cultural history from the island and in the City of Trenton while educating the community about valuable roles Puerto Ricans play in the U.
