Lighting the Way Pastoral Care’s mission is to fulfill the work of God—"to proclaim the gospel to the poor; to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners and to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve; to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. LTWPC provide aftercare services to individuals who are reentering society from prison and treatment facilities to help diminish relapse occurrences and recidivism through our Living Free Community group classes, Living Free 12-Step Recovery and support meetings, Career Preparation Education, one-on-one mentoring and support, marriage mentoring, and family restoration.
