Because of YOU, our 4th Annual Ovarian Cancer Awareness Walk was a success. Each post shared, donation made, step taken, story shared, and hug exchanged reminds us why we walk; to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and spread awareness. We couldn’t have done it without your support, and we’re already looking forward to walking alongside you again next September for Year Five.

Did you know there’s a strong connection between breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Both can share similar risk factors and, in some cases, even genetic links like the BRCA1 & BRCA2 mutations. Some common risk factors include: 🔹 Being older 🔹 Being obese 🔹 Never having had children 🔹 Having your first child at a later age 🔹 Using hormone replacement therapy during or after menopause Knowing these risks is an important step in early detection and prevention.
