Cycle Schenectady WELCOME Our Mission Cycle Schenectady is a nonprofit organization of bicycle enthusiasts whose mission is to educate and advocate for the safe use of bicycles as an affordable viable and sustainable means of transportation recreation and personal enjoyment within our community. Our Vision We envision Schenectady as a place where everyone recognizes and embraces the benefits of cycling whether they ride or not and where cycling is a common feature of daily life for everyone. We envision a comprehensive network of bike lanes and trails that enable people in the city county and region to comfortably safely and efficiently use a bike for transportation and recreation.
