Friends of North Andros Friends of North Andros Supporting North Andros through service and relationships Our Story In 2016 Hurricane Matthew ravaged the Caribbean and The Bahamas and while international and regional assistance provided support to help more populated areas the island of North Andros was left unable to stabilize from short term assistance in the immediate aftermath. Watching the destruction unfold I felt helpless for my friends and family on the island and I was inspired to start Friends of North Andros to help rebuild the communities I dearly love.
