We are a non-profit organization, owned by the Steilacoom Tribal Museum Association and run by volunt The Steilacoom Tribal Museum Association's purposes, as set forth in Article 3 of the Articles of Incorporation, are to operate a Tribal Museum and related facilities, to educate the general public concerning the History and Culture of the Steilacoom Tribe of Indians and other Northwest Indian Tribes, to ensure the preservation of the Steilacoom Tribe of Indians, and to conduct scientific research in the public interest concerning the same. The purposes of the corporation are for charitable, scientific and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
