John Hancock Charter School was established in 2002. We have 180 students in K-8th grades. We believe that schools should inspire the heart, mind and soul. The mission of JHCS is to provide a core foundation and make our students successful learners for life! IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS, THE COMMUNITY, AND IN COOPERATION WITH ALPINE SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE CONTINUOUSLY CHALLENGING CURRICULUM IN A SAFE AND NURTURING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. OUR PRIMARY GOAL IS TO INSTILL ALOVE OF LEARNING AND TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.
